1. In my first venture concept I explained that there has always been a need for improvement within the healthcare community. Many lower class and poverty driven areas are left in the dust when it comes to healthcare. Many can not afford health insurance and in the case that they can afford it there insurance package is nothing of value. Affordable insurance plans often include extremely high deductible payments as well as little to no coverage. It has been proven that in these areas of poverty, obesity, heart disease, heart attacks, diabetes and many more health concerns are at an all time high due to lack of insurance, financial stability and healthcare awareness. Financial burden is on of the main reasons people don't take an active hand in their healthcare insurance. I worked in a healthcare clinic that is a non profit organization that caters to the underinsured and no insured patients. Throughout my time there I experienced and noticed the need for a better outreach regarding program and insurance plans that would benefit these people. Many of these people are not only in these lower poverty areas but sometimes homeless and lack the knowledge of programs that will help them. Another common problem is the lack of schooling makes it hard for these people to fill out and understand these lengthy applications. By allowing a representative fluent in a patients first language there available for appointment to sit down with these patients and fully explain healthcare aspects, as well as sit with them walking them through the applications step by step will benefit the patient. The lack of awareness in these communities is sad and someone has to be one fighting in their corner. My service will partner with insurance companies and clinics to provide a representative in each location there for patients to make an appointment to get all the information needed, an questions answered, and to know their options and plans for healthcare insurance or government assisted program that they might qualify for. This will be offered in different languages to cater best to each patients needs. I truly do see a need for my service and others have expressed this as a need as well. My service will go hand and hand with clinics and insurance companies to better serve the people which in turn will not only benefit the patient but the insurance companies, clinics and improve health care.
As of right now and what I know is that there is no other service catering like mine is trying too. There are ones like it such as Medicare and Medicaid representatives come out to clinics and help patients get approved. The problem with this is and this is where my product comes in is many people who need the financial assistance or the healthcare insurance don't meet the requirements to be approved for Medicare and Medicaid. Leaving the patients that don't qualify still at a disadvantage. My product which is a service can help improve this would be around for a long time and only improve over time to cater to each patient personally. These improvements would include not only helping with insurance but helping with other government assisted programs. To be able to provide the best hands on knowledge would definitely help so many people. The need for this and the problem has always existed and will continue to exist but my service will provide an action plan to help and by helping even one person has already changed someone's life, provide income to insurance companies and clinics as well started taking a step to improve the healthcare industry.
2. I was told I need to find a better way to create a profit, that my idea might be giving and not receiving enough. Although this might be true I'm not one hundred percent sure how I would pave the way for more profit. My product is mostly service but I did add some of the improvements such as many different language accommodations. I would allow us to be complete representative allowing for the patient to receive the most benefits.
3. The way I changed it as discussed before was adding language accommodations and allowing the patient to receive the most out of my service. Again like said before still trying to identify a way to allow for more profit. I did also suggest that clinics could pay us to provide our services or these patients.

"Final Reflection"
1. This semester has been a difficult one, not just with the class but in general. I think a few highs through this semester in this class would include really learning how to think a further step when coming to business concepts and the idea of your overall product. I enjoyed reading about other peoples product; some people have really good ideas that I feel I could really see implemented. A few lows throughout this semester would definitely be racing to the deadline because I decided to wait to the day of to do all the assignments. I definitely dreaded the fact that assignments were due at 12 in the afternoon as well as some assignments were so long I didn't even want to do them anymore. I think my absolute least favorite thing was the cupcakes because lectures were so long, by the end I forgot most of the stuff said in the beginning.
2. My most memorable experience throughout this course was "What's your Secret Sauce" assignment. During the time that assignment was due I was going through a rough time and to have the most important people tell me what made me special and the good qualities I processed felt amazing especially during that time. The assignment I am most proud of myself for competing is all the elevator pitches due to being really nervous and anxious about recording myself on camera.
3. I definitley would not say I have one hundred percent an entrepreneurial mindset but I definitely feel I am a lot closer. This class has take me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to think more logically as well as outside of the box more. I learned to think in terms of audience and profit. This class also allowed to go out on a limb and try participating in a business selling Monat products.
4. The tips I would give to anyone taking this class in the future is to really invest your self and learn as much as possible; I definitely learned a lot but I know I could of learned more. I would obviously suggest not to wait to do all the assignments the day they are due, it definitely is a struggle. I would also say I know college is stressful and this is not your only class but the more invested you get with this class the more beneficial.

Exit Strategy
1. My product and business a service so my exit strategy would be to continue with the business. I hope to expand my business. It would be really cool if we could add more features and services we offer as well not only serving Orlando or Gainesville but all of Florida and eventually expand to different states. I hope to only improve as the years go by and be able to help more and more people as well as clinics, insurance companies and the healthcare field. I sit here and talk about expanding and only improving but what I never want my business to forget is we are the people and patients are main concern and we are here for them. My other hope is to become a household name hopefully offer jobs to people in need.
2. My reasoning behind my exit plan is the more I can expand to different places and states the more people I can help. The same goes for adding more services will only allow my business to help more people and more in depth. Being able to help people is my whole aspect and drive of the business service I have created.
3. I think my exit strategy highlights my expansion and the goal of my business. The goal is to help people especially the under represented as well as expanding my business to reach a bigger and broader audience. Seeing the potential of my service and how it an positively influence the community is what drives me to want to expand and keep it going and I can only hope other people see my same vision. I plan to acquire and put my plan into action by starting off small and building my team, marketing and expanding my audience.

Reading Reflection 3
1. The book I chose for my third reading reflection was "The Art of Social Media" by Guy Kawasaki. Guy Kawasaki is a former apple employee but most importantly he is marketer. He was responsible for Macintosh marketing. This book his guide to social media and how to make your output business like. Throughout this whole book he explains how to succeed and get where you need to be through your social media aspect. To me it was a book on how to be your own marketer because Kawasaki gives step by step process and examples.
2. I really did enjoy this book and actually recommended this book to a friend of mine who is an advertising major and really invested in her social media presence. This book was different from the ones I chose before because the prior two I have done were mostly focused on the failures and the process and journey to getting where they got today but this one was mainly focused on how to make you and your brand great. I think it was a really cool book and liked how it was like a teaching manual.
3. If I had to create an exercise from this I would make it similar to what we have now, doing the blog post. It would be so cool to make an Instagram or Facebook and throughout the semester do activities following along in the book aa well as criteria posting on social media and creating a brand. I think it would be a cool way to put the book into action and might really benefit a lot of the students.
4. Something I found really interesting was that he put all his knowledge into three wide lessons. The lessons include, one, "treat your social media presence as a business", two, "give your fans the content they want not just what you want to create", and three, "Let different accounts talk to each other for cross promotion". These three subject headings went in to greater detail but I just found it so fascinated how only three steps and hard work you can create an image viewed professionally by so many.

" Let's Fail"
Failure to me means only room for improvement, but it has not always meant this to me. I have had a few failures in life that in the end all I wanted to do was give up. For example one I feel a quite a few people could relate to. I am currently in my second year about to be finished but in the process of failing Gen Chem 1 for the second time. School has always come so easy to me, it did not take a lot of effort to pull A's each and every time. My freshman year taking chemistry, I felt like no matter how much I studied and no matter how long I stood up and redid every problem I kept failing each and every exam. I felt defeated especially when I would hear others say "it was so easy". At the end of that year I eventually had to drop it and take it again this year. I thought for sure since I was taking it a second time, this would be a lot easier but I found myself still struggling. I started to go to every office hour, bought study edge and started studying with friends. Although I will say I have improved it has not been enough to pass this class. This really did take a toll on me to know that I am trying so hard and still able to succeed with it. Due to this I have cried, rethought my major, rethought my placement here at UF and felt horrible about myself. What I realized this year and especially in class is nothing worth doing comes easy. I learned I can fail 100 times but as long as I keep going I will be able to succeed, the key is to keep trying. I know it is not ideal to continue to keep taking classes again but I know what I want most in life and I will not cannot give up. This class has shown me that the greatest entrepreneurs have failed time after time again. I also decided and realized myself a little more throughout the course. I realized that the same way I reward myself for doing good such as going to ale house or going shopping, I can also use it as more motive and a keep trying reward. I beat myself up a lot when I fail and I need to realize it is ok and I have this class to thank for that. From my failure I not only learned to keep trying and find new ways to study and apply myself but I also learned it is ok as long as the next time I come back twice as strong. So yes, failure sucks, its scary, embarrassing and takes a toll on my emotions but I have overcome worse and will not give up. I will try to take all my failures as a lesson and fuel to drive the next attempt.

Venture Concept
Product Name: Healthcare Outreach Partners
There has always been a need for improvement within the healthcare community. Many lower class and poverty driven areas are left in the dust when it comes to healthcare. Whats Next?
Existing Market:
1. I would love to incorporate other government assisted programs to help with as well such as food stamps, welfare, and WIC. This will allow for patients to learn and get the help they need regarding financial assistance.
2. In terms of the community I am trying to cater to, I think they would appreciate adding representatives of multicultural backgrounds allowing them to speak the language they are most comfortable in, such as sign language, creole, Spanish etc.
3. I think the first step to take would be building a team, reaching out to clinics, the government as well as insurance companies asking for them to be apart of my service. By doing this I will have to talk to many people building the service as a whole.
- In summary I think I need to talk to more people in general of expanding my existing market to only improve it. This service is to provide an easier way to improve ones healthcare so in order to that on a personal level for everyone we need to figure out a wide variety of needs.
New Market:
1. I think the next community to reach would be businesses. Many businesses usually go with the first few insurance companies to offer them a deal hindering their employees. After a few workers comp cases insurance sky rockets for everyone leaving even the workers to lack their responsibility in their own healthcare.
2. This outreach can only expand my service allowing to also cater to insurance companies and businesses. This will allow for the best coverage for a better price to outweigh their options.
3. My interviewees would support this idea for the simple fact that sometimes company insurance is just as good as having no insurance. Many times deductibles are so high or the amount they take out of your check each month or every 2 weeks hinders a family.
4. Prior to this idea to improve using the new market I did not even think about reaching out to businesses as a whole. This will improve my service and allow for more people to benefit from my service.
- After this assignment I feel like my service can really benefit a wide variety of people. Allowing for the healthcare to improve while allowing more and more people to take control of their healthcare is a very good outcome that can be possible with my service.

Elevator Pitch 3
1.
2. I did not receive feedback this last elevator pitch but I did re-watch my elevator pitch and asked my family members for feedback. My last one was not clear enough or informative enough about my idea and I kept making those "um" pauses.
3. I tried to not use so much "um" pauses as well as tried to be more informative and detailed in this pitch.
Book Review 2
1. The book I chose was "How to Fail at almost Everything and still Win Big" by Scott Adams. This book was about Scott Adams who is a famous cartoonist who is the creator of Dilbert Office Cartoon. The entire story is about his life and how he went through failure after failure. Some of these failures include failed start-ups, failed attempts at jobs and the losses he took. Through all the failures he eventually pulled through to be extremely famous now. This is his journey.
2. This was actually a real good book and I enjoyed reading it. I feel like it only put the cherry on top to what we have been learning in ENT 3003. This man, Scott Adams literally took lost after lost; failure after failure and still continued to try and never give up. This book was extremely real when it came to Scott explaining that it did take a toll on his mental heath and there were days he just wanted to give up. He gives tips and tricks to staying motivated, to keep going and to take the failure as even more motivation.
3. I think a cool exercise for a class would be an obstacle course. You will begin the obstacle course with a weighted jacket and after each obstacle you add more weight that they have to carry throughout the course. The weight would represent failure and the hardships and of course it is going to be hard to carry the weight as you move along but it will teach them that they have to keep going to win.
4. I think I was mostly surprised by the amount of failure he had to endure. He had a few startups that failed, he had patents that meant nothing and kept messing up at jobs. Through all this hard work and hardship he managed to make time for his loved ones around and still continue to get back up and try again.

Growing Your Social Capital
1. Market Expert
- My market expert is Kathleen Gonzalez, a Medicaid/Medicare representative.
- This person is a former coworker, she works apart of True Health but not for True Health.
- She is former coworker so it was pretty easy to contact her and get adequate feedback. She is a representative regarding Medicaid and Medicare. She actually has her own appointments where she speaks to patients about applying to either Medicaid or Medicare. She sees if they qualify and actually explains in details everything and goes step by step helping them fill out the application.
- I feel like she is very helpful in regards to my service because she does something very similar but she cannot give patients that don't qualify information about insurance plans. She understands the need and demographics of my service.
2. Domain Expert
- My domain expert is Latrice Stewart, CEO of True Health.
- This person is my former CEO at True Health.
- Contacting her was a little tricky just because of her busy schedule. She is one of the best CEO I have ever worked under just because she is very personable and loves her employees. At my other jobs I did not even know who the CE was and as for her she is so involved.
- Like I said previously she is CEO of True Health which is a non-profit organization that helps the under insured and no insured community.
- She is a great aspect because her company fits the exact demographic where my service would fit right in.
3. Supplier
- My supplier is Ericka, a insurance rep for Humana.
- She was the absolute hardest to get in contact with which actually my CEO helped me get in contact with her. Ericka is a Humana representative. Humana is the insurance everyone is currently under at True Health.
- Our exchange was that I listen to all the great things Humana has to offer and consider changing my insurance. She does see the need for people to have insurance especially the population that True Health sees.
- She would be a great aspect because she is an insurance company that we could get adequate information about their plans and relay that information to our patients.
Reflection:
I actually liked this assignment because it aloud me to reconnect with some former co workers as well as share my idea and get good feedback for a place I could see my service being beneficial in. My service is for the people which is exactly what True Health is for their people and community and they are always looking for new ways to help the community in a sufficient way.

Napkin #2
1. Hello, my name is Stephanie Rodriguez; a sophomore at the University of Florida. I am currently in the innovation academy which has aloud me to advance in my path of innovation and entrepreneurship. My skills would include compassion, dedication, hardworking, and drive to do better. Another important skill that allows me to connect with a variety of people is my heart which I learned about myself during the our special sauce assignment. My aspirations as a business plan are to bring more awareness to the healthcare community in regards to improving how people take a part in their healthcare. The first step to me as a way to solving this problem is health insurance. By creating an outreach program consisting of representatives to inform patients of healthcare options and really take them through the steps to find an insurance plan that fits for them.
2. Many people now a days are not taking a first hand in their healthcare resulting in many people having undiagnosed or uncontrolled health problems. Part of the big problem is lack of representation. So many lower class individuals don't know all the options regarding healthcare insurance plans or don't even understand. What I am offering is a representative in healthcare offices available for appointments there to provide adequate and sufficient information about health insurance plans. This representative will actually be able to sit down with these people learn their needs, wants, and financial status and be able to provide them with options that will provide the healthcare they need.
3. My demographics for my idea would be the lower/middle class, individuals with no healthcare insurance and underrepresented. I am well aware from experience there are certain ethnic groups that this solution would help as well as single mothers and the elderly.
4. This solution is valuable because it is providing a one to one meeting ultimately saving them money and allowing them to get the best healthcare experience. Many individuals want to take an active part in their healthcare but cannot due to the high deductible rates, lack of knowledge, and no coverage.
5. We are here for them, not to make money but rather to provide a well overdue service to help them improve as well as take an active effort in their healthcare. This service is specifically to improve the healthcare system and that starts with our patients.
6. I do believe my aspects it together and will benefit our community especially the under represented. My business plan will allow for an abundant as well as factual information regarding healthcare options and plans to people who where in the unknown or little known aspect. This will allow healthcare workers to provide service to more individuals as well as hopefully get the percentage number of healthcare problems done or controlled such as diabetes and obesity down.
7. So from my feedback I was more descriptive I believe this time around regarding what my service is and how it will help. I also talked less about the service and more about how it would help the community and who is shall help.

elevator pitch 2
"Avatar"
This is a hardworking mother with 4 kids who works a 8-6 job to come home and work as a full time mother. Her husband died and she was left to take care of the children and herself all by herself. She works as a front desk representative at a local health clinic. She has worked there for 10 years now and finally got a promotion to lead representative which she was excited for the pay raise but it meant more stress, work, and time away from her kids. She has 2 boys and 2 girls ranging from 3-16. Her life consists of working to come home cook dinner, get her kids to bed and finally herself to bed to do it all over again the next day. Sundays are her days where she goes to church and comes home to relax, watch her favorite show Grey's Anatomy and get ready for the week. She gets insurance from her job but due to her job having so many workers comp cases the insurance continues to go up each year to now she can barely afford the minimum for her and her kids. She needs help learning about other insurance options due to the high rates and deductibles. This customer avatar relates to me in some type of way because it reminds me of mother, My mother can not afford all of us to be on her health insurance provided from her job so she choose the lowest plan for herself and tries to see what she can afford for best quality or me and my sister. This avatar also reminds of so many people who I used to serve on a daily basis as the health clinic I worked at.

Refection: I appreciate everyone for doing this and feel like they aligned with what I wrote and I think it is because they tell me all the time. I love the people around me and do everything I can to help. I do dedicate myself to the people around me and sometimes too much as others tell me. My interviews consisted of my dad, my boyfriend, roommate and 2 other close friends.
Buyer Behavior Part 2
Interviewer 1: She is a single mother of 4 kinds, 2 boys and 2 girls. She did explain that since she is a single mother price is usually her deciding factor when buying products. She tries to go for the cheapest, most affordable but still going to provide its purpose. She did also state that if the quality was significantly more for a few extra dollars then the alternative she will go ahead and spend the extra depending on the product. She also says that since she is busy all day she usually buys just about everything besides groceries online through amazon. She says during her lunch breaks she uses that time to buy what she needs for her family. The way she would determine if it was a good buy or not is if it served its purpose and if she would buy it again,
Interviewer 2: She was actually the 18 year old daughter of the women above. She goes to UCF and states because we are all broke college students price and quality go hand in hand for her. She gave me some examples such as clorax wipes how the actual branded ones work great and all but the great value ones in Walmart are half the price for more containers. She tries to get as much as she can for her dollar. Just like her mom she does do a lot of her shopping online through amazon but does say things such as grocery shopping and shopping for clothes she feels is a need to be done in person because you get to weigh out your options and in cases with clothes you save the time and the struggle by trying them on in person and seeing how you like it rather then paying for shipping and hating all the clothes. She states how she would determine if it was a good buy would be if it lasted her a good amount, if had a good enough quality for the price and if she didn't hate it or regret buying it.
Interviewer 3: This is a man who works as a car fixer and car detailer. He said quality is his key that it is better for him to spend the money now then to spend twice as much fixing it sooner then you would if you had bought for quality rather then price. Due to his job he has order through an online website for parts to come in but on his outside life he says his wife does all the shopping in person and hates online shopping. The way he said he will determine if a buy was a good buy or a bad buy is based on the look, feel, and overall performance. Did is last or did he have to fix it sooner then he intended to.
Summary: Overall I tried to pick 3 people with totally different backgrounds and careers. My first lady is a nurse, her daughter is a college student and the man is a mechanic. Overall I eel like each of their responses were different enough to get a general outlook but similar in ways as well.
Conclusions drawn: In conclusion I would say quality and how good you can get or your dollar is what is important. That people might go in the middle where they are not buying the cheapest but also not buying the most expensive. I also feel like they rate a product good or bad based off the products performance.

Reading Review
The biography I chose was “Steve Jobs by Waltor Isaacson”
1 1.
-
There was a lot of things that surprised me but I
think the one thing that surprises me the most is that he got fired from his
own company. It still shocks me that this was his yet he was the one that was
fired. It also goes into me thinking it is so funny that he made his way back.
-
I most admired Steve’s drive and motivation as
well as his ability to not care what people thought about him. He believed in
himself and was not going to let anyone stop him. I think a problem me and a lot
of other people have is that I care to much about what other people think of
me. He did not let any fall or failure he was unstoppable.
-
The thing I least admired was the fact that people
said he was manipulative and could fire anyone on moments notice. That might be
qualities needed to move forward but I think in my opinion the manipulation was
unneeded.
-
Steve Jobs experienced a lot of failures and
falls throughout his process to get to where he was. The one thing he never did
was give up. He literally was intertwined with his work. His work was where he
ate, slept, etc everything was involved in his success.
2 2. The competencies I think Steve Jobs displayed were
creativity, tenacity, and determination. All qualities I believe amazing
entrepreneurs have.
3. The one thing I found confusing about the
reading is how they said Steve Jobs was manipulative obviously I have never met
him but he did not seem like he held those personality traits.
4. Questions:
-
Where there points along the journey that you had
distanced yourself from friends or people you cared deeply about and felt like
you made a wrong decision by doing so? My reasoning behind this question was
because often times in my life as I move forward I find myself needing to
distance myself from individuals I care deeply about and feeling bad and
wondering if that was the right decision.
-
If this wasn’t a success and didn’t turn out the
way it did where do you think you would have been? My reasoning behind this question
was what was his plan b or where does he think he would be if this didn’t play
out how it did.
5 5. In my opinion I think Steve Jobs’ opinion on
hard work was determination and becoming one within your studies or work. Steve
Jobs’ lived, breathed, ate, and intertwined himself within his work.
"Midpoint"
1 1. “Tenaciousness is a competency”
-
I want to say as this course has begun I have
had to use time management skills a lot more, which is something I struggle
with. Setting aside to watch lectures due to them being lengthy as well as time
to do my assignments in advance because they are not due at 11:59 that day but
rather 12 in the afternoon.
2. “Tenaciousness is also about attitude”
-
In these past two months I’ve had to overcome my
disliking that assignments are due at 12pm which is extremely inconvenient for
my class and daily schedule. Another thing in the beginning of this course I
complained a lot about was how long the lectures are. In the beginning I hated
this class because of those reasons but have come to the conclusion that I can
not change that. Rather then complaining a lot I decided to suck it up and think
of it as a positive output. I’ve had 1-2 exams every week since the end of
January so throughout that time I have to admit I fallen behind somewhat in
this class but I know that I want this and I want a good grade so I will continue
to push through.
3 3. “Three Tips”
-
Tip 1: Don’t wait to the morning of when an
assignment is due to start doing it. It is a big stress inducer trying to put
out quality output in a time crunch especially if you also have class.
-
Tip 2: Watch lecture right before taking your
cupcake. If your anything like me and watch it in advance by the time I take
the cupcake I forgot most of the small details and that’s what most of the questions
are.
-
Tip 3: Plan out how you are going to do the
assignments because if not you will forget like me and be in a pickle.

Figuring out the buyer
Interview 1:
This person I talked to was a student here at UF but also a parent to a little girl. She had stated she believe everything should be more advertised when it comes to healthcare. She stated as a single mom she often struggles to figure out all the benefits she can get for herself and daughter.
Interview 2:
This person was a random women who was talking to me on the bus about how she is homeless and doesn't have healthcare insurance but she has diabetes. She stated she goes to the hospital because she knows she won't have to pay upfront and they will still help her. From personal observation I feel like my solution would help her.
Interview 3:
This next person was one of my friends that is in the nursing program. She stated on her rounds she sees so many of the same people there trying to get help but they have no insurance and can't afford the healthcare they need and deserve. She says more advertising and more awareness of help and improving healthcare would be a great addition.
In conclusion there is a need for more awareness and attention towards the lower class. This will provide these people in need the healthcare they deserve.

Napkin Idea
Who:
I am a sophomore at UF and also in the Innovation Academy. I am majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. My hopes are to apply to med school at UF. I am a very outgoing person and I enjoy being creative and thinking outside the box. I have always have a passion for the medical field and understanding the aspects of people. My future hopes are to dual partner with the juvenile justice system for first offender children and partner with the hospital working with children and adults. These areas have such big gap providing room for improvements.
What:
I am offering a solution to provide the under represented more awareness about insurance and healthcare benefits. My solution is a representative in all healthcare facilities with a larger population of lower class while also providing more advertisement. So many underclass individuals and families either have no health insurance or insurance that covers absolutely nothing but it is the only one they can somewhat afford. Many of these individuals are not aware of the possibilities and resources available to them. Many of these people are the people who need to see a doctor the most.
Who are you offering it to?:
I will be offering it to insurance companies and healthcare facilities.
Why?:
Many diseases and obesity are found more prominent in lower class families and individuals; if we could have a better outreach to these families to get healthcare insurance that they can not only afford but as well is beneficial to them we could establish more doctor patient relationships. Getting these people the insurance they need and deserve creates a revolving door. More money for insurance companies because more individuals would get insurance, healthcare facilities create more with more patients and patients get the healthcare they deserve.

"testing the hypothesis part 2"
Person 1: This was a person who worked in a urgent care. She saw a need or there to be more awarness to the under class to ensure better health care.
Person 2: This person was a student and she did not see a need due to thinking there was enough resources in place. She said they need to take initiative to get the information.
Person 3: This person was a lady who stated there are some resources but not enough. More representation should be in place. She is a single mom.
Person 4: This person stated she is from outside the U.S and she would definitely say more representation is needed for under class and foreigners.
Person 5: This person was a representative and said there could be more newer and improved ways to reach a bigger audience.
WHO, WHAT, and WHY: Throughout my interviews I found that there is mostly a need for more representation and outreach. I did realize that there are things in place but just need a better outreach to reach more people.
Inside Boundary: Under class people and outreach for more information on health insurance
Outside Boundary: People who don't need this insurance information.

"Hypothesis"
1. Opportunity: People of lower class and underprivilege don't get the health insurance they need and the ones they can afford are not quality health care.
2.
- Who: underprivilege people
-What: not receiving the health care they deserve because they can't afford it and the insurance they can afford is not of quality.
-Why: these people can't afford it but they get fined if they don't have insurance which makes them get the most affordable which doesn't provide adequate healthcare.
3.
-why: there is definitely a need for change because most people need to see doctors but cannot afford it.
-What: an organization or awareness of different programs and help offered to assist everyone in getting the healthcare they need while also being able to afford it.
-Why: This is an opportunity to reach out and help the lower class community. Research has shown lower class has a higher rating of obesity, diabetes and other health impairing illnesses. If we can reach out and help these people when can hopefully make a better future.
4. I interviewed 5 people 3 of them being former patients of mine from a clinic I worked out and 2 being my family. All of which agreed there are not enough resources out there providing information to the lower class about insurance and health care benefits. Some even said they didn't even know if they qualified for Medicare/Medicaid because there is not enough information, One lady, a single mom of 3 handsome boys states she put all her money in health insurance for her kids but when it comes to her she pays for the cheapest plan which usually does not cover anything because she simply cannot afford it.
5. This is something I've seen as a problem first hand and think there is need to bring More awareness and help.
2.

"Problem is Solved"
Opportunity: Many underprivilege people are unaware if they qualify for Medicare/Medicaid and some that apply don't qualify but are in desperate need of assistance for health insurance. There should be a way to reach the greater public to provide the quality healthcare they deserve.
Solution: The creation of a committee for the people that is well educated on insurance, qualifications and needs. We need people that are actually dedicated to helping the lower class find not only affordable insurance but quality insurance. Something that is cheap but comes with a huge crazy deductible is only hurting the consumer rather then helping. These can be position at clinics and office where criteria fits.

" Opportunities in Economic and Regulatory Trends"
1. Regulatory Trends: "Paid sick leave and minimum wage policies at local and state levels"
https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7671-regulatory-issues-changes.html
~ This article was the business daily news and I feel like creates an open opportunity for new advncments. The minimum wage is going up which is honestly such a good thing because it is so hard for some people to make a living especially singe parents raising a family. The fact of paid sick days are great too but provide room for dishonesty and error inn the system. This is where business opportunities come to play. Everyone gets sick but how do employers know if their employees are actually sick. In my opinion it is unfair to an employees boss and coworkers when people call out short notice especially for an invalid reason. On call providers to assist the situation virtually will provide room to create more jobs as well as minimize the calling out.
~I saw this opportunity because coming from experience in a minimum wage job the pay would not even be enough to pay rent with car insurance imagine raising a family. Feeding off of that as well through out my working experience I have experienced so many people call out "sick" leaving the entire crew short staffed and unprepared when they weren't really sick. Nothing is worse then that and especially if they show up to chat or you see them on social media doing other things.
2. Regulatory Trends: "Affordable Care Act"
https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7671-regulatory-issues-changes.html
~ This article is also from the business daily news as part of list of regulatory trend changes. The affordable care act has been trying to change to get better for years so that is why I feel like it is an opportunity. Where improvement is needed there is opportunity. Affordable care act right not penalizes people with no insurance but I think fail to realize their audience. Most people who don't have insurance are at poverty level. Many people can not afford insurance and is why they are trying to make affordable but don't realizing they are doing more bad then good. Making is cheaper doesn't mean they are also giving you quality. So many people have deductibles they could never afford to reach and some people never get sick or get sick rarely so there are paying insurance to avoid a fine but costing more of their living expenses. The customer base would be underprivileged people.
~ I saw this as an opportunity and felt strongly about it due to personal background. I used to work at medical clinic that served the uninsured and underinsured. Some of these people are unemployed or not making enough to support their family and now this is an extra bill to paying when they get little to no use out of. The deductibles of most of the cheaper insurances are so high these families couldn't possibly afford to meet it so more money of theirs is coming out of pocket.

~ This article was found in the 2020 data trend predictions on Sigma. Many people are trying to push the idea of data driven companies but have found that many businesses are actually losing profit and success. I thought this would open an opportunity for to crate improvement. They found that only 31% of business are actually finding if useful despite the data that data driven business is power and better. The customer for this will be the business because if there was a better way to execute data driven business, business with begin to see a result.
~I saw opportunity in this because when the economy is doing better businesses are doing better and if data driven business is suppose to help there should be a solid execution.

https://www.newsmax.com/finance/peterreagan/economic-trends-2020- investors/2020/01/03/id/948332/
~This article was found on Newmax .com. This article was stating that in 2020 we will not be ending the trade war but rather moving into phase 2. I thought this provided opportunity to try and see alternatives because in this trade war it was said that after each and every time president Trump speaks out for retaliation prices go up. The customer would be us the people.
~ I felt like this opportunity because there's only so much we ca take of price rising. Not everyone is rich and it's sad to see that Trump instead of ending it is just moving phases. Sometimes we have to step back for the sake of our people,
https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/7671-regulatory-issues-changes.html

Story Time
A time I have experienced entrepreneurship is through this program called launchpad scholars through UF. This program is run in infinity hall by a group people that help create startups and encourage entrepreneurship. This program is responsible for laundromat delivery services, freshman starter packs, etc. I was put in a group of 5 with all different majors, interest and years. Some had experience and some like me were brand new to this. This program was semester long and included multiple meetings creating a solution to a small problem. What my group decided to create was a laundry lock system to avoid getting your clothes taken in the dorm laundromats. We went through the process of interviews, small prototypes, multiple pitches and a final low-fye prototype. I really enjoyed this experience because it required me to get out of my comfort zone and speak out while working with a random group of others. overall it was fun and learning experience that provided me with skills I lacked prior to this situation.
The reason why I joined this class is because I am apart of the innovation academy and it is a requirement. Through the innovation academy we take a series of courses which would lead to graduating with an entrepreneurship minor.
As for picture uploads it was over a year ago and I tried looking for the power point and emailing a group member but was unsuccessful but if you look launchpad scholars UF you can get more information.

"Can you not BUG me"
1. The long waiting time in line at Chick-fil-a at the hub during lunch time.
- Why? This problem exist because Chick-fil-a is the best fast food restaurant ever and there are thousands of students on campus that all are hungry and want the best chicken just like me.
2. When your late to class and literally everyone in the class turns there head to stare at you as you walk in trying to get to your seat.

4. When people say "what even is gluten or how I became allergic" when I tell them I'm allergic to gluten.
